Bio

South Laurel High School (2005-2010)

As a member of the South Laurel High School softball program, Emily was a member of 2 Regional Championship teams. She had a career batting average of .525. She broke multiple Kentucky state records, including career hits with 349, career doubles with 104, hits in a season with 83, and consecutive games with a hit with 52, which was also ranked 2nd in the nation.

In 2008 Emily was named 2nd Team All State. In 2009 she was named 1st Team All State. In 2010 Emily hit .634 and hit 17 home runs and was named 13th Region Player of the Year, Section 4 Player of the Year, 1st Team All State, Kentucky Miss Softball and Gatorade KY Softball Player of the Year.

University of Kentucky (2011-2014)

Emily played for 4 years as a member of the University of Kentucky Wildcats softball program. In 2014, the 14th ranked Wildcats ended the season with the most wins in program history with a record of 50-19 and a trip to the Women’s College World Series. As a member of that team, Emily batted .356 and had an on base average of .507. She had 43 hits, 36 rbi’s, a team high 13 game hitting streak, and 7 home runs including 2 walk offs and 1 grand slam in the regular season, and a homerun against Baylor in the Women’s College World Series.
